Kaito Token Blows Up Past $1 After Game-Changing Developments

KAITO Token Soars Past $1

The Kaito Token (KAITO) staged a sharp 65% surge to blast past the $1 level as investors responded to several high-impact announcements.

KAITO, the native token of the AI-powered InfoFi network, staged over 65% gain on Thursday to break through the $1 psychological level. The leap elevated KAITO to a new local high of $1.46 per CoinMarketCap data.

What is Driving KAITO Rally?

While this altcoin rally emerges as the hype from the Federal Reserve (Fed) decision to pause interest rates is driving the pump across the entire crypto market, Kaito token's surge in price arises from its key development.

The KAITO rally comes amid news of its integration with Huma Finance’s Yapper leaderboard that will enable users, identified as Yapper users, to earn rewards.

The integration of Huma Finance’s Yapper leaderboard occurs ahead of the Token Generation Event (TGE). This is a significant development given that the leaderboard is incentivizing yappers actively engaging with the crypto content on the X platform with rewards and ecosystem perks.

Kaito’s Earn and Drop Campaign

The uptrend momentum traces to the May 5 announcement by Kaito founder Yu Hu confirming the ‘Earn and Drop’ campaign debut featuring a collaboration with the PayFi Network’s BOOP.

This campaign coincides with the analytics update following the addition of Total Value Distributed data to the Dune Analytics dashboard. By doing so, Kaito targets enhanced transparency around its ecosystem activity and token incentives.

Reflecting on the data from Dune shows over $72.36 million in rewards distributed across the ecosystem. This has benefited yappers, hodlers, and stakers, exclusive of the scheduled KAITO airdrop. Today, the Kaito project has over 200,000 active yappers monthly, solidifying its positioning among the expanding Web3 social platform.

Ballooning Derivative Interest

Reflecting on the Thursday gains shows the derivative interest ballooned to a two-month high of $184 million, up from $37 million 30 days ago, per CoinGlass data. The sharp rise replicated in KAITO derivatives volume that rallied 1390% to test $2.4 billion. This illustrates the substantial increase in the speculative activity for this altcoin.

The upward trajectory has cooled as KAITO changes hands at $1.39 with its daily trading volume 64% down to $316.93 million, CoinMarketCap data shows.

The recent surge leaves KAITO 52% below its all-time high of $2.92. Nonetheless, KAITO's price has been up 64.40% over the past seven days, outperforming the global crypto market by 8.00% in the same period.
